    Great product, new formula is improved

    I've been using this product for my curly hair for 8 years now. It's super easy to use and gives great results. Apply it starting from the roots, and then scrunch up the curls with like a T-shirt or something slightly absorbent. They recently changed their formula (instead of a "cream" it's a "softening control clay"). The results are even better.

    Not a fan of the new softening control clay

    The new version of the softening control clay natural look is not the same as the old version and its bad compared to the old version.

    My husband likes how it leaves his hair smelling good and very manageable, it does not make him ugly or crack

    Not hair clay

    It's not hair clay. It contains no clay. I'm guessing due to the fact that it contains both lanolin and canauba wax that it is a hair wax. It does have medium hold as it says on the tin, however I would say it has medium shine as well and is not a natural look.

    Great Product...but styling of package has changed

    I like this product - I have purchased this several times, but today I could not find it. Turns out the packaging has changed and some of the "attributes" for the product have changed. Says "Softening Control Clay" on front - not previously. Says "medium shine" on back...previously was "Natural shine". I assume it is the same???? Axe should clear this up.
