I brought this a few weeks ago smells awful like chemicals and meant to be for kids even adults cannot bare the smell near their faces or body, also doesn’t work at all everybody gets burnt no matter how much we apply . Awful DO NOT BUyY. Great Product, Will Order Again
This stuff is really great for going out to work in the sun. I generally LOVE Banana Boat and this product is no different. I know this specific model is for kids, but I use it on myself and it is gentle and effective. It’s lightweight and sports a decent scent. I’ve been using this stuff for a while now and it does a great job protecting from the sun. It’s easy to apply and stays on even when sweating or swimming. However, I’m not thrilled with some of the ingredients. I wish it had a more natural, eco friendly formula with less harsh chemicals. How is this product not recalled?
I got two bottles of this for a vacation and my entire family is sunburnt and in pain. Like the other reviews say, this does not work at all!! Also it smells horrendous. I thought banana 🍌 boat was supposed to smell like bananas. It smells like chemicals. DO NOT BUY
I am literally burned ALL OVER. Unless you are going outside for 2 minutes and are naturally very melanin-filled, I do not recommend anything from this company. My cousin and I are currently writing this with aloe Vera on our arms and honey on our face to ease the pain. Even my other cousin, who is naturally much darker than us, got burnt! Terrible product.
I have used banana boat for years - first time using this version. I applied as per instructions and re applied every hour. My kids and I got terribly burnt ! Do not buy this product. If I had of read the reviews of this before buying I would have gone with something else - why is still on shelves if people are frying ?? Ps. Use by date is 2025. So its not that ! Pps. It also clumped when applying and had lumps on it.
