Barqs root beer used to have a slogan that said "Barqs has bite" and it was for good reason. It is the only root beer that gives a little back of the throat nip. I don't know how they make it so much better than other brands of root beer but it is my absolute favorite. A very good carbonated drink to pair with a meal! It’s the better of the root beers out there, I like the classic taste. An average root beer
Barq’s is a reasonable root beer. I find it available most often through fountain dispensers at fast food restaurants that carry Coca-Cola beverages. That’s really the only time I opt for it. It’s not a bad root beer, but it’s not the one I’d choose first. It is pretty sweet and tastes better cold. Once it warms up it becomes less appetizing. It goes on sale at grocery stores whenever Coca-Cola beverage products are on sale. It is available in cans or bottles. Those who like it buy it without a second thought.
