Loreal Paris Eyeshadow

The L’Oreal collection includes two types of eye shadow: liquid and pressed powder. 

Pressed powder eye shadow is the most common form of eye shadow, so a wider variety of shades is available. All eye shadows are pigmented, but eye shadows that are described as highly-pigmented are generally bolder shades that deliver highly concentrated color.

Using an artist's color wheel is a good place to start when looking for a shade to make your eyes stand out. Color theory indicates that colors on opposite sides of the wheel complement each other, so look for your eye color, then choose from the shades directly opposite. Another option is to choose colors close to your eye color for a more understated look.

For blue eyes, choose blue, brown or bronze shades. For green eyes, select shades of violet, plum and pink for contrast. Brown eyes look good with earth tones, such as green and copper. Neutral or nude eye shadow is a good option for creating a subtle makeup look to complement any eye color.
