Perfect Texture!!!
Just returned from the store with two flavors of Non-Dairy B&J's. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough had always been one of my favorites in my pre-lactose-intolerant days. Seems like it has been hit or miss with the texture in non-dairy ice creams - until today. I was about half way through the pint when it hit me that I may have brought home the dairy version as this was way too creamy. Put my reading glasses on to make sure the container read Non-Dairy. Been a long time fan of Ben and Jerry's non-dairy flavors, so I was excited to try a "new and improved recipe." It is decidedly not improved. They certainly managed to make it creamier, but it's no longer good. Very tasty
Very tasty and delicious ice-cream, so creamy and rich, perfect for sharing with friends or family. A bit pricy but worth it, we always stock up when it is on offer. This is one of my favorite cookie dough ice creams ever. It hits the nostalgia and, as always with B&J's, has lots of satisfying cookie dough throughout.
