Definitely changed the recipe!! We have only made this kind for years and everyone loved them. So disappointed in how bad they taste now just completely different and awful.

I baked these in an 8x8 dish on 325 for 25 minutes and they were perfect. Your directions say 50-54 minutes. If I would have baked these for 50 minutes they would have been hard as a rock.

RECIPE CHANGED? We have for decades made only these brownies as we found them to be the best. And we are scratch bakers for everything else! Just made a batch and we both agree they taste bad, and they came out thin and flat. Won't risk eating more from this batch and will return the other box we bought. Sad when a company has a really good product and then changes it, for the worse. Will not buy anymore!

What is carob powder ?it's was new to me cause previously never seen this ingredients .I been using this product but only now I seen had carob powder what is it?.and also when u don't add cocoa powder in the mix the taste just like to much sweet only sweet you can taste that's what I notice that the changed some ingredients or perhaps the alter into something different cause the taste really changed a lot before it was chewy and taste like had a milk on it but that taste had gone and also the texture after baking it's cracking even u follow the instructions on the box .but I notice the to much sweet when adding cocoa it's get nicer taste than those no additional cocoa really like u are eating sugar the taste of it.
