If you hate scratchy pencils, do NOT buy this one.
I've always hated a scratchy pencil. It gives me feelings like nails on the chalkboard. I never used a pencil when I was little becuase of this. Of course now there are zillions of options, and I know which pencils I am comfortable with. I got this pencil free when I oredred my textbooks. I tested it today and yeesh! VERY SCRATCHY. Mechanical Pencils
BIC Mechanical pencils are great! I use them everyday. These pencils are very handy and you don't have to sharpen them. The only downside of Mechanical pencils are is the lead breaks very easily. Also They're different kinds of lead, so if you have to refill your pencil you have to get a certain type of lead. Mechanical pencils write very well on paper, the print comes out really well. Jazzes up back to school shopping
