I developed a fever and started to feel lousy 2 days after attending a New Years Day celebration. I felt like I had the flu and tested using the Binex Covid/ flu at-home test. The test is very simple to use but it would be helpful if more guidance were given on how soon after the onset of symptoms the test is most accurate. I tested negative on the 2nd day after onset. Inaccurate! Delayed me getting proper treatment
I was very ill, so I bought one of these tests from CVS. Ran the test exactly as instructions said to do (fyi I am an RN) and the results came back NEGATIVE. The very next morning, I still felt very ill. So I went to an urgent care clinic, was retested, and I tested POSITIVE for the flu at the clinic! This test kit from CVS is completely inaccurate! All it did was delay me getting proper treatment for the flu!! $22 I spent on this garbage test kit… total waste of money. This kit needs to be taken off the shelf! Do not buy! Waste of money
Followed instructions and the sample doesn’t even travel half way up the test strip after waiting fifteen minutes for both of the tests in the box. So many other reviews with this same complaint. Not an Accurate Test
I felt under the weather after waking on Thanksgiving morning with coughing, a sore throat and general body aches but with no fever. Fearing Covid, I took this test which resulted in a negative diagnosis for Covid or influenza. Went to the closest Access Medical who used a different multi-test which resulted in a positive influenza A detected. After returning home and before taking any of my prescribed medications, I tried taking another Binax test which again resulted in a negative result. Not accurate

The Covid/flu test for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use and quick acting. Delicate to my nose and well packaged. Provided a definitive answer of whether it was positive or negative for Covid or flu.
