[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband noticed he had a cold sore on his upper lip, so we applied Blistex Cold Sore Treatment, a cream with 10% docosanol. We applied it four times a day for about three to five days. The cold sore healed very well. The cream is odorless and has a good consistency; you only need to apply a pea-sized amount. There was no irritation or discomfort. It worked so quickly that a day after the first application, the cold sore seemed to be drying up and was a bit better than it had been on the first day. This small jar of cream is very easy to carry and can be applied as needed. It's a good product that works well and helps a lot with cold sores.
