This stuff actively dries my lips out. I've tried everything, maybe I was putting on too much? I'd put some on just one lip and rub them together, nope. Too much feels like a uncomfortable sheen on my lips. After having applied it, about 20-30 minutes it feels like I need more and if I put it on before I sleep I wake up with the worst feeling on my lips. I'm not sure what's in here compared to the OG and I'm not a chemist to figure out what's screwing it all up, but stay away and stick with the OG, that's the best product out there.Reply from burtsbees.com1 week agoThanks for sharing your honest feedback. Best Burt’s bees lip balm
IMHO this is Burt’s Bees best lip balm. I use it every day and in the winter I also smear it onto my cuticles. Not like the original at all.
I was looking for original Burt’s Bees lip balm, but of course they had 20 other options with flavors galore. This one was unflavored and ultra conditioning, so I tried it out. It is pretty greasy, and didn’t help my lips very much. Why do they have to complicate things with all these options that are less effective than the original? Fortunately I only paid 50¢ for it cause I had care cash or whatever on my account.2 months agoJonathan, thanks for contacting us.
