I’m really disappointed with this purchase. When I opened the package of Burt’s Bees makeup remover cleansing wipes, I noticed that many of the individual towelettes had small specks on them — different colors throughout the fabric. It didn’t look clean or consistent, and that immediately made me uncomfortable. Although the specks are small, it still feels unsanitary to see something like that on a product meant for your face. It honestly gave me a little bit of paranoia using them, because you start questioning what those particles are and whether the product was properly handled or inspected. These wipes are meant to be used on our faces, which is a very sensitive area, so quality control is extremely important. Seeing visible specks inside a sealed package raises concerns about manufacturing and cleanliness. I normally trust this brand, but this experience makes me question their quality control process. I hope they address this, because facial products need to meet a higher standard of safety and consistency.

Rash on my face!
I love Burt’s Bees and decided to buy micellar wipes with coconut and lotus for a trip ( i usually use micellar water on a facial pad). So here I am in Mexico with a nasty rash around my eyes and on my cheek after using these for the past couple of days. I trusted the they were gentle for sensitive skin… should have verified before leaving home!

These are my favorite face wipes. Leaves your face feeling clean and fresh and get all the allergens out of my eyes. Bought them on sale which was a great value.

Great for traveling or when I am in a hurry!
I use this product espeically when traveling or if I am in a hurry to take off old makeup and apply new. It feels refreshing on my skin and does the job of removing the make well. I believe this product is also healthier for my skin.
