Protect your skin

SO disappointed

Not good. Pills very bad.
I love CeraVe but this sunscreen is a miss. I’ve tried so hard to like this sunscreen, but it’s just awful. It could work if you never wear any makeup or serums, but if you use anything underneath it pills SO bad. I tried it again recently and it was pilling so bad that I couldn’t even rub it into my skin— it would just pill more and more and I ended up with all these white sunscreen flakes all over my face. What happened to the formula?
Was the formula recently changed? I’ve used this moisturizer for about 3 years now and then as of last year all of a sudden it pills like crazy all down my face. No other products are on my face. I wash my face with CeraVe foaming face wash and then put the moisturizer on and TONS of pilling. What happened?Reply from CeraVe2 weeks agoHello lacyg! It is frustrating when a longtime favorite product begins to pill, but this can often be resolved with a slight adjustment to your application technique. Pilling typically occurs when the physical sunscreen filters in our AM Lotion don't fully bond with the skin, so we recommend applying the moisturizer to slightly damp skin and gently pressing it in rather than using a circular rubbing motion.
