    Restores sheen and elasticity

    This is my new go-to daily lotion, it's the right amount of moisture in between the light and cream formulas. I discovered it after spending 5 weeks in the Florida Keys sun - it restored sheen and elasticity.

    dermatitic skin improved drastically within days

    This is the first CeraVe product I've tried after having some success with a knockoff moisturizer. I suffered from red flaky skin around my eyes caused by seborrheic dermatitis. The flakes could be suppressed by applying my previous moisturizer multiple times a day but the redness remained. Not only does this product clearly moisturize for longer, the remaining redness disappeared within a few days of using it. My only complaints (which are strongly outweighed by the benefits) are that I would not argue with anyone who perceived this product as "greasy", and that, while it may be "unscented", it does in fact have a "smell". Greasy is a subjective term but this product leaves a sheen on your skin that is more conspicuous and lasts for longer than my last moisturizer. The smell of this product, while not bad, is also not good. The best I can describe it is adjacent to a disposable medical glove or a party balloon.

    Sticky, heavy filter

    I bought this hoping it would help me with my atopy prone skin (especially bothersome now during a winter)- does it help, I don't know and don't care to find out. Why? When buying a moisturizer I always look for one most the important aspect- does it leave heavy filter or not? CeraVe says no, except yes, it does. I would know since I cannot, literally cannot, have anything sticky/greasy/heavy on my skin- especially on the skin I put the clothes on. It's sticky, heavy and gluey on my skin- right after the shower. it's disgusting and uncomfortable. I wouldn't bother with this review, have CeraVe *not* stated this lotion doesn't leave a filter. It does. And now I'm stuck with without any lotion and itchy skin until I get my usual CeraVe lotion (which does not, in fact, leave a fillter). I guess I did learn not to trust CeraVe too quickly (and some other reviewers).

    Never had a problem with Cerave before this

    I love most Cerave products. It’s what was recommended for my daughter when she was a baby. She has severe food allergies and in turn has always had bad eczema. Lately my skin has been very dry and breaking out in eczema in places so I thought I’d try this. I made the mistake of putting it on after shaving. It’s burned and stung so bad, I almost scratched my skin off. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone. Now I have this huge bottle that I can’t even use because it makes me so uncomfortable.

    Terrible itch and burn

    Developed a terrible itch and burn as soon as I used this. I will stick with regular cerave and hope they don’t change that formula.

    Itching and burning

    I used this product today for the first and only time. Within 5 seconds my skin started to burn and itch. At first I thought it was because my skin was too dry, but the intensity of the itching and burning was too strong. I regret purchasing this product and will go back to using the classic Daily Moisturizing Lotion.

    Nongreasy, blends easily into skin and nonfragrant

    This was recommended to me by my dermatologist for my dry, flaking skin. I was amazed at how quickly it brought it back to its original softness with no more flaking. I use it daily to keep it that way.
