I'm in love with this moisturizer. Made sure to wait allow enough time using before leaving my results. First of all my skin is sensitive. Though I enjoy original iconic cream texture wasn't the right choice for my face. This is wonderful. My dry sensitive face and body loves it. In the past my face would feel dry hours later no longer. In every way this exceeded my expectations. The texture is creamy, light weight, absorbs without any problems. I have used several CeraVe products. This is the first I do not like. Like many others here, this caused my skin to burn. I kept using it anyway thinking that maybe my skin was just SO dry and damaged that it was temporary. Well, the burning sensation DID go away after many days of use, BUT I started breaking out (weird tight clusters of pimples). As soon as I stopped using this, my face cleared up again. works great, but causes hives with harsh chemicals
I have very dry skin that is aging, and this stuff works wonderfully. It's not too thick, not too thin, and lasts at least 24 hours. It absorbs quickly and doesn't feel greasy. It's the best feeling moisturizer I've tried, and I've tried a lot. HOWEVER, it has too many chemicals in it and about 8 to10 ounces into my first bottle, it started breaking me out in hives, which stopped as soon as I switched back to a lotion that I'm not allergic to. I wish Cerave would come out with an intensive moisturizing lotion like this without all of the allergy-triggering chemicals, like PEG's and others.Reply from CeraVe1 week agoHi rcm63! BEST lotion ever.

Made my skin very itchy and irritated
I have used the moisturising lotion for about 4 years and never had any issues. Picked this one up a few weeks ago and it has irritated my skin to no end. Buyer Beware
I exclusively use CeraVe for all of my skin care products and this is the first one to cause any issues. My skin immediately began to itch and sting so badly that I had to shower and scrub it off. Made my skin sting
Everytime I use this intensive moisturizing lotion it makes my skin burn, sting, and tingle for at least 10 mins. I love CeraVe products typically as well as laroche posay, and have had super dry skin. Not for everyone
I just purchased this product for the first time and have always been a fan of other CeraVe products. But like many other review have immediately developed an itchy rash.
