General Cleanser
This cleanser works well in terms of removing dirt and makeup, but unfortunately it seems this brand dries out my face a bit. I do have perioral dermatitis though, so a perfect cleanser is a hard find for me.

My go-to cleanser
I’ve been using this CeraVe cleanser for years, it’s truly my go-to. It keeps my acne under control without stripping my skin dry. I’ve experimented with other cleansers, but always find myself coming back to this one.

Great skincare
Love my cleanser so much I use it daily and it keeps my skin clear of blemishes.i buy the value size because a little goes a long way. Sometimes if I run out and go a day without using it I notice I breakout.

Gently exfoliates

Very good!
This is one of the best cleansers I’ve used, it’s very effective, it doesn’t dry out your skin. It lathers well and the size is great for the price. It did spill a little so I think it could be packaged a bit better. Other than that, it’s great.

My skin said NO
I used this cleanser daily for about 2 months. I originally purchased it to help calm my hormonal acne, which had been flaring up more than usual. At first, I liked how smoother my skin feels, less breakouts and noticed a reduction in the appearance of my pores too. Over time though, my sensitive skin started reacting badly. I experienced burning, itchiness, redness and overall irritation. I eventually stopped using it completely and had to focus on rebuilding my skin barrier. While this product may work for some skin types, it was not suitable for my sensitive skin. I would recommend patch testing and being cautious - maybe don’t use it daily, especially if your skin is easily irritated.

Irritating and burning on face
Last week on 25-28 January 2026, I used CeraVe renewing SA cleanser and Cerave blesmish control gel. Oh my God my whole face is burned and rashes. Very irritating and burning. I don't why this happend.
