The meaty bits our chihuahua LIVES for
We switched to this when our older chihuahua had some dental surgery thinking it would be temporary until he felt better. Prior to that he had been underweight because he was not eating enough (he was free fed) due to pain in his mouth trying to chew hard kibble (a brand for small dogs). After his surgery and a diet of 2-3 containers of Cesars every day, he quickly started putting on weight and for the first time ever since we rescued him was finally looking healthy and muscular and you couldn't see his riblets anymore! He became OBSESSED with these meaty bits and we decided to just do away with kibble and keep this as his primary food. We have tried other brands and softer kibbles but his sensitive tummy always seems to reject those after a while. He has never had any tummy troubles from Cesars and we appreciate that this brand offers both pâté and meaty-bits styles, and options with veggies we can see. He truly thinks about this food ALL day long and just lives for when its time for more meaty bits! My dogs love this. I mix it either dry food. It's ok price wise, I think it is in the middle. I would put a cover on it. Beef stew wet food
