The irony is that I use all Cetaphil products because I have sensitive skin, so to add this to my routine was a given. After using this for just under a week, morning and evening, I've actually notice my crows feet deepen and the burning sensation is actually too much so I've stopped using it. Not actually hypoallergenic or for sensitive skin
If I could give this zero stars I would. I'm disappointed because I've used other Cetaphil products before and they were fine. My daughter used it two different times and had a horrible reaction each time. Cetaphil wouldn't post my original comment educating the world about one of the ingredients in this product that causes skin irritation and allergic reactions despite this label saying it's for sensitive skin and it's hypoallergenic. My poor 8 year old daughter is miserable and having to take an antihistamine and cortisone cream trying to get relief. I was able to narrow it down to a select few ingredients by comparing the ingredients of this to the ingredients in a baby cream she has used her whole life without any issues. Upon comparing, on a product ingredient description website this one particular ingredient stood out because it mentioned that this ingredient "had a bad reputation among cosmetics advocates." So I began researching this ingredient. The ingredient that I believe is causing the most problem is propylene glycol. Look it up for yourselves since they won't post my original comment I tried posting. We'll see if they even post this one. 10/10 do not recommend this product to anyone. I will now be keeping an eye out for anything with this ingredient in it but I will also be one of those people from now on having to check all labels for these harsh chemicals that absolutely should not be in products. In fact are banned from being in products in some countries. I don't understand how companies can get away with labeling their products as hypoallergenic and for sensitive skin with such harsh chemicals as their ingredients. My poor daughter. I feel horrible. My eyes are open now. Love It!
I spent about a half hour in CVS looking for a good under eye cream. I settled on this Cetaphil Deep Hydration because I'm in my early 70's, have dry skin & I have been noticing wrinkles under my eyes along with the dark circles I've had forever. Anyway this cream makes my under eye nice & smooth & so my skin looks younger & well hydrated. I think my dark circles look lighter as well.
