I am backing up "Teddy"'s review. I have used No 9 (*not 9a) for 20 plus years, it used to be 103. Now when I go to most stores it's not available. Something has changed with this product and it's not for the better. It would be "nice n easy" if someone would respond to these issues. Orange hair
I'm disappointed that the light ash brown turned my light brown hair reddish. I was just trying to cover minimal grays with a matching shade. The product was easy to use and did cover my grays, but I didn't want an unnatural / different look.Reply from Clairol1 year agoHi there! Great coverage

Color is too dark
Bought this hair dye to lighten up my brown hair at the tips now the ends of my hair is a darker brown with red tint. The packaging wasn't opened so it's not like someone switched the colors of another box. I'm confused and disappointed how the dye didn't match the color on the box.Reply from Clairol1 year agoHi there!
