What is CBD?

There's been an explosion of CBD products in the past 2 years. It seems like you can buy all kinds of things virtually anywhere. But do you want to? CBD or Cannabidiol, is a non-intoxicating compound found in the hemp plant.

What it is not:

While hemp and marijuana are both cannabis sativa L. plants, hemp plants have a THC content of 0.3% or less. The CBD in products sold at CVS is derived from hemp, not marijuana, and CBD products sold at CVS are tested for THC content to confirm that it is at or below 0.3%.*
