No irriration, no smell, absorbed good. String was not too long either. It is completely just because of my body and my monthly's which is why they don't work. If it was just having to absorb stuff I'm sure it does it's job. They weren't designed to keep baseball sized blobs up in there. You get a decent amount for the price and it's 100% organic so you don't need to worry about anything harmful. They seemed to hold a decent amount of fluid for a light or regular flow day.
