I always resort to this brand when it comes to drugstore make up. I usually get it at target and it never disappoints. The colors are pretty and creamy and it does last all day. These lipsticks have a dry and gritty texture. I even exfoliated my lips beforehand and applied a Shea butter balm as a ' base ' . Color soon migrated beyond the lip lines despite the 6 hour wear time claim . Wiped my lips completely dry and tried the lipstick a second time . Dry , gritty texture -almost like sand . Sad because I purchased 2 both in ' vintage wine ' . I Gave the second unused tube to my mother- in law next door . Who swears by and wears cover girl lipstick. I won't buy these again . Despite a heavy ' 6 hour ' time . These lipsticks barely last past 60 seconds. The texture is dry , waxy and gritty despite being made out of ' over 30 percent emollients ' . Cannot recommend these .
