After only two or three uses, it’s ready for the garbage. There is no way to twist it for more product!!! What you see is ALL you get. Since this pencil isn’t mechanical, sharpening is key for the best use. We recommend using the CoverGirl Make-up Masters 3-in-1 Sharpener or a similar sharpener with a smaller hole for precise sharpening. If your sharpener blade feels dull or it’s hard to sharpen, replacing it usually helps. We don’t suggest refrigerating or freezing the pencil, as that can affect its performance. Will not buy again.
Liked the smoothness of the eyeliner but the sharpening did not work. Expensive for the limited amount of product. Will not buy again.Reply from Erin1 week agoHi there! Poorly designed but goes on smoothly
The eyeliner itself is awesome. I have extremely oily eyelids and work outdoors in the heat frequently, and it stays in place for most of the day. Very creamy, smooth, and heavily pigmented, so I can breeze through my morning makeup routine. It's just blendable enough that if I want to blend out a mistake or turn it into a smoky eye, I can do so pretty easily. However, like others have pointed out, it's terribly designed. The plastic casing makes it so frustrating to sharpen it, and no sharpener will evenly shave the edges down to create a point because the plastic catches in the blade. Also, the actual eyeliner seems loose inside the wood/plastic casing, if that makes sense; it wiggles around in the pencil and breaks super easily after sharpening. I go through it super quickly because I end up over-sharpening it. Please fix the design issues 😭 I love this liner but I'm trying out other brands now.Reply from Erin1 week agoHello! Amazing eyeliner-horrible pencil!

Stay away
This is the worst eyeliner I have ever used. It's thick and gummy. I put it on then wipe it all off practically because it gets everywhere except where you want it. Panda eyes
I’ve bought a few of these because I needed it to go on quickly, but I don’t keep them on long because in two hours I look like I have PANDA eyes. They are only good for about a week because they have very little product inside. So.. it goes on fast, looks great.. for a little while.Reply from Erin4 months agoHi there! Useless after 2 applications
As everyone else has said, the eyeliner cream itself is good, but the packaging is a disaster. You get a couple of uses, but then the product is below the level of the pencil container. It was not clear until I tried everything I could think of that there was no way to twist it to get to more. I then tried a cosmetic pencil sharpener that has 2 different size holes, even though the pencil has a plastic-y feel that seems odd to have to shave off. Neither size hole worked, although I have successfully used it on several other products. Now I see from reviews that you want us to by a special 3-in-1 pencil sharpener from you. This smacks of you deliberately designing the size of the pencil so that customers are forced to buy yet another product from you in order to use the first. No way. This is going in the trash and I am now very suspicious of Covergirl. ... By the way, they are now making it very difficult for me to submit this review -- my first three nicknames were "already taken", although they are not common. Then they are forcing me to use an "optional" additional feature like a photo or a youtube link in order to submit my review. Good liner, bad design
