[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t really care for this mascara. It doesn’t apply very well, it takes a while for it to build enough to really see a difference. The brush itself is rough and kind of hurts during application. Wand is great shape

Must have mascara
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a big mascara girly, it’s definitely one of my favorite steps in my makeup routine so I was super excited to try a different one from a brand I’ve always loved! Covergirls Clump Crusher Mascara is too good, I’m wondering why I haven’t tried it sooner! I love how this mascara separates my lashes, gives them the perfect amount of volume/curl without clumping and is water resistant but still comes off so easy! I like that while wearing this mascara I didn’t experience any smudging of flaking.. just long, beautiful lashes all day! Easy to put the mascara on

A beautiful every day mascara
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely agree that this mascara is a clump crusher, it applies really easily and beautifully without a lot of effort. I attribute this to the brush design, not only how it applies but it also holds the perfect amount of product on it, as well as the formula being the perfect consistency, not too dry, not too wet. This mascara also did not weigh down my lashes at all, so it is a nice lightweight formula as well, which I love! I think this is a good every day mascara, it gives a good amount of both volume and length, but I wouldn't say it is extremely volumizing or lengthening either, so I don't think I agree with the claim that it gives 20x the volume, however as an every day, very wearable and very easy to apply mascara, I was very happy with the amount of length and volume it did give. This mascara however is not water resistant at all in my opinion. As soon as I put water on it with my fingers and lightly rubbed, it was heavily running. It also does flake slightly throughout the day, not enough to stop me from wearing it though, the small amount of flaking I got from it wasn't overly noticeable like some other mascaras. And it did smudge a little throughout the day wearing it as well, this was more noticeable than the flaking and a definite negative for me, however I like the mascara enough otherwise to still wear it. Overall I really do enjoy this mascara and will continue to wear it. It is definitely a great every day mascara for me. Not one that I would wear on an overly hot or humid day, or one that would have wet weather. Also not a mascara I would wear in the Summer if I am going to do any kind of water activity. But it is definitely a mascara I will frequently wear, and I really love how it looks on and how it applies, especially for very stubborn lashes like mine that easily clump, don't hold a curl well, and like to go in all different directions. I am very picky with mascaras for those reasons and this one checks all those boxes for me, it's not clumpy, it helps my lashes hold a curl all day, and it helped my lashes to stay upright and not try to go in all different directions!
