No sharpening or advancing more lip stain?
Product works exceptionally well. How do I advance more pencil? Is that it? Not able to sharpen or advance more lip stain? If so, it's not a good value at all.

Man this didn’t work
I bought this today and I decided to swatch it on my lips, I do have a habit of biting at my lips, but I apply Chapstick, so they really aren't any dry patches on my lips. It's more just me biting down to the lower skin. Bad habit I know. But this lip stain stuck to them so badly.. within one swipe, the color on those spots was extremely dark whereas the rest of my lips it was super light. And then I went to try to get it off and it came off really easily around the rest of my lips, but it clung to those areas so bad. I still haven't gotten it off

Try something else
I bought this two weeks ago and not sure if I got a defect but it's terrible. It was ok the first couple days but certainly didn't glide on- it was more of a rough chalk. It's almost like the tip was dried up. It also lasts max a couple hours…. Maybe mine was a dud, so sad. Color was cute.

Good Lipstain
I don't have much experience with lip stains. This one is unique because it has a marker-like tip. I don't use it often because I usually wear a clear gloss or lip butter. If it's a holiday or I need to dress up a bit, I usually wear this and top it with a gloss or lip oil. This dries down very quick. It doesn't irritates burn settle into fine lines but when I add gloss over it, you can't really tell. Since it is a marker tip, it can be challenging to line your lips with it. I tend to put it all over my lips and avoid the issue of it because between the large tip and quick drying time it's a little tricky to use. At least for me. I find that when I apply it the tip of it tickles. That could just be me. The color lasts a long time. On my fair skin it's a very nice pinkish nude color. I probably wouldn't repurchase because I don't use it often. If I wore lipstick or lip stains on a consistent basis, I would repurchase and probably even try more colors.

Lasts a long time. Love the feel.
I bought 3 different colors, sugey, admire and natural blush. They are all almost the same color and so dark. Can you make a lighter color for the pigment challenged?

best lip stain
I love how this cover girl lip stain looks on my lips. It applies very easily and is very pigmented. I have the shade 35 canyon and i love it. It's the perfect price too. I love that it's the shade of a pen so I can easily put it in my purse.

I was so hopeful but it was so sticky, drying, smudged easily. I like the color Crimson Glory but it just didn't perform to the high standards I was have of CoverGirl.

DONT LOOSE YOUR MONEY
IS NO LONG LASTING, the color is horrible, make my lips so dry, i bouth a multiples colors, and all looks like the same
