Dissappointed
I use aimply ageless covergirl wilth olay and was very happy. Tried new ageless essence and am extrely dissatified. Okay, let’s talk about the Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence Foundation in 30 Light-Medium — because at this stage of life, if a product can make me look rested without asking too much of my skin, I’m listening This is one of those rare finds that sits comfortably between makeup and low-key skincare. It’s infused with bakuchiol, a gentler, plant-based alternative to retinol, and tranexamic acid to help improve the look of dark spots over time. So while it’s evening things out, it’s also quietly doing a little skin-care multitasking in the background, which I fully appreciate. The texture is lightweight and hydrating, almost serum-like, with tiny pigment droplets that blend easily and give a sheer, natural finish. It doesn’t settle into lines, doesn’t feel heavy, and doesn’t scream “foundation.” Instead, it gives that “my skin but better” look — like you slept eight hours and drank enough water (even if you absolutely did not). Coverage is light to light-medium, which makes it perfect for everyday wear. This isn’t for full glam nights; it’s for grocery runs, lunch with friends, and Zoom calls where you want to look awake but not overdone. It wears comfortably throughout the day and keeps skin looking fresh rather than flat or cakey. Honestly, the only thing missing is SPF. If this had sun protection built in, it would be dangerously close to perfect. As it is, just layer it over your favorite sunscreen and you’re good to go. Needs more range of undertones
I am very fair complected with cool undertones. Much like every complection product I have tried from Cover Girl, the closest shade match I could find still oxidized orange on my skin. it’s a no go for me - too much texture
i usually like a skin tint vibe so i thought this was going to be right up my alley…it was NOT. i have sensitive, on the dryer side of skin. it made the texture in my skin stand out so bad and didn’t hold up all day.Reply from Erin3 months agoHi!
