So let me tell you about this wonderful Aftersun Aloe Vera Moisturizing Gel product. This product is amazing. It soothes, cools, and moisturizes the skin. It protects your skin from drying and peeling. It's Paraben and Phthalate free. I know it says Aftersun, but you can also use this for minor skin irritations and abrasions. Right away, I ran into a hitch with the pump design where the pump mechanism detached from the bottle, making it useless. Because of the viscosity of aloe, you can can't just tilt the bottle and pour it out easily; it comes out blobby and thick and slimy so it's very tough to transfer into another pump bottle and it's a pain to squeeze it out for use and not make a mess or struggle to close it up again, so the pump is really important to this product. That being said, I did like the absorption and lack of stickiness, the feeling of smoothness in the aloe itself. If the pump were reliable, I'd give it a full five stars but without it, it's really inconvenient to use. I'd consider a more durable design like I've seen with hand soap products. Works great
After a day of swimming and my husband not wanting to wear sunscreen, this came in use. He felt an immediate relief from the burn. It was soothing and cooling. He started to notice the burn being removed within 2 days of using it. Refreshing good on my skin
I always keep some of this aloe after sun gel in my cabinet. I am outdoors quite frequently and sometimes I do get a bit of a sunburn. This gel feels so cool and soothing on my burns. I just recently got this CVS AfterSun Aloe Vera Moisturizing Gel With Vitamin E Clear and I have to say that it works great!!!!!!!!!! It really soothed my badly sunburned skin!!!!!!!!!! Finally found it at CVS!
