Poor and inefficient design
Needed some steri-strips for a pretty gnarly gash in my shin from a fall... went to CVS, but they only had these and some other butterfly band-aids. 1 of these cost $19.49 before tax... figured it would work, good thing I also bought 12 butterfly closures for $4.79. This one with the metal looking staples did not stay in place, and moved together not keeping the skin closed for healing in the first 24 hours. Would not buy again! BUT the butterfly closures work like a champ!Reply from Customer Relations Representative2 months agoHi, we are sorry to hear about your experience with the CVS All-In-One Laceration Kit. More affordable than urgent care
I cut my leg. I left it on for ten days. The wound closed up as well as going to a doctor.0 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendSUSANVerified purchaseReviewed 5 months agoValue Out of 5Meets expectationsOut of 5Quality Out of 5
Device Works
My husband is on a blood thinner and cut himself shaving. The small cut would not stop bleeding despite pressure and several bandages. It was near tender skin by his lip. I bought this laceration kit which susonly contains 2 devices so a little pricey. It worked so well, that we did not need to use the second device. Bleeding stopped within several hours even though the device can be used for several days. I will always have this on hand and highly recommend.0 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendmariaVerified purchaseReviewed 5 months agoValue Out of 5Meets expectationsOut of 5Quality Out of 5
Works great for that larger laceration
Purchased this for a larger cut on my husband's thumb below his knuckle - he did not want to go to the hospital. It held great with a finger bandaid. It actually healed faster. I would definitely buy again - but it's expensive- $20 for two sutures - but it works - if it goes on sale I will pick it up to keep on hand.0 users found this review helpful. - ALICIAReviewed 6 months agoMeets expectationsOut of 5
Hurt so bad
I tried this after using the butterfly stitch bandages the first 48 hours and I took this off within 4-5 hours. Why is there a metal staple against your skin?? My wound didn't even hurt that much to start with and this made it worse, it was like a constant sharp poking. I went back to the pain-free butterfly ones!1 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendKRISTINEVerified purchaseReviewed 7 months agoValue Out of 5Meets expectationsOut of 5
Thought this was two separate suture bandages…
Nowhere on the outside of this package does it indicate that though there are 2 suture bandages inside, they are packaged in one sterile pouch such that when you open it for one you are ruining both. I would never have bought this for $20 had I known that…Reply from Customer Relations Representative6 months agoHi, we are sorry to hear about your experience with the CVS All-In-One Laceration Kit.
