I had a very bad scratch wound and every time when I clean and change bandage I use this product. This made me had rash marks. It’s not immediate which is even worse because intuitively I don’t consider this as the culprit. After asking ChatGPT, the benzethonium chloride is the ingredient that causing this reaction. So please avoid using it after noticing such problem, use saline if no wound is not too bad. Forceful Stream of Wash
I would not buy the CVS Antibacterial Wound Wash again for several reasons. 1. The force at which the stream of Wash comes out is too intense for a wound. I eventually started squirting it off to the side of my wound and let it run down over it. Not ideal. 2. It requires a lot of strength & coordination to actually push down on the top to apply the Wash. This may be fine if applying the Wash to someone else, or onto your own front leg, for example; but, if your Wound is in a harder to reach area it takes a lot of strength to push down on the top until you’ve thoroughly washed your Wound. 3. I personally didn’t like the way my Wound felt after the Wash dried. Hard to describe but maybe a bit tight and achy. 4. 5-star product but 1-star shipping & delivery
This is a fantastic product, but the shipping was horrific!! The package arrived in a box that had been taped up by someone who either didn't know how to do the job or didn't care at all. The 8 cans of the product were rolling around loose inside the package -- and one can discharged entirely inside the shipping box, arriving completely empty. Product ok but spray hardly works
