Orange flavor is horrible.
As flu and covid have been rolling through our schools, we got this product to help with some of the symptoms. I try to minimize treatment for just a cough to only cough suppressant instead of the multisymptom meds. As with most kids, mine don't like the taste of most cough medicine so we thought this might be a good choice. We were wrong. The product seemed to work OK overall for the cough but the taste was horrible (I tried it as well to check- not just kids). I'd rather take unflavored cough syrup any day. Same ingredients, Great Taste
I usually buy CVS brand products when it comes to medicine for over the counter health products because I am able to compare the ingredient list easily on the back and it is usually the same ingredients in a more expensive brand and it is much more affordable as well. With the weather changing my son has had frequent sicknesses and colds so using this medicine has helped ease much of his cold symptoms. This flavor is orange and he hasn’t had any issues with taking it. It has a pleasant flavor without any bad aftertastes. This is okay for ages 4 and up and had an easy dosing chart on the packaging and bottle label. This came with a dosing cup inside and has easy measurement reading. This helps with coughing and commons cold symptoms and has helped tremendously with repetitive night coughing which alleviates his throat and coughing so we both can get sleep. I like this version the most because it can be given during the day or night and won’t interfere with school or sleep. Just no . I wish i could give it no stars for how poor it was . Tasted horrible and didn’t do its job . When your child is sick you want them to feel better quickly and be able to sleep . Skip this and use honey . Works well but prefer another flavor.
I usually buy the CVS brand of products for all my OTC medication needs and this worked great. My kids weren’t big fans of the orange flavor, would have preferred in a chewable tablet form but otherwise did the trick.0 users found this review helpful.
