This generic was less than brand. In fact, the pharmacist suggested to save. My husband was taking another brand of stomach pills but doctor recommended lansoprazole because of his other prescription drugs. I think the CVS product is as good as the name brand. The box side I buy (42 capsules) comes with 3 bottles inside (14 pills in each).
