    Not as good as the name brand

    I purchased the CVS Brand of this product because the name brand (Abreva) was sold out. It didn’t work as well as the Abreva. I also ran out of this less than a week after purchase. It must have been half filled because I’ve gotten multiple uses/months out of the Abreva of the same size. Incredibly disappointing especially since this stuff isn’t cheap.

    Works great!

    I received this product complimentary from Influenster and CVS in exchange for my honest review. My husband tends to get cold sores on his nose rather than his mouth/lips, especially when the weather is bonkers and goes cold to hot to cold to hot (the weather in the South is nuts!) and this winter was no exception. We typically purchase Abreva or Campho Phenique to combat his outbreaks, so we were thrilled to be able to test out a store-brand version of the same. It did not disappoint. Within 2-3 days, his sores had almost completely dried up and left no scarring or redness behind. If anything, I'd say that this product possibly worked faster and better than the more expensive name-brand versions. The pump-style packaging is also a plus - no mess, no fuss. Highly recommended as a slightly less expensive remedy to Abreva.

    Recommended

    The cream is absorbs quickly into the skin. It helps speeding up the healing and reduce pain and discomfort the effective area. I would recommended.

    Good value.

    Works just as well as name brand creams. The pump is great & makes it so much easier to dispense without direct contact. It does not smell or taste offensive, & absorbs pretty quickly into the skin.

    Works instantly!!

    This stopped my cold sore as soon as I applied it! I can feel them coming on early, and anytime I apply other products they take forever to work. This is the first time I've had a product actually stop it before it became something big! I rarely get them, but when I do it's uncomfortable and embarrassing. No scent and the packaging was great!

    Nice texture!

    I didn’t have a cold sore to test this cream on but I did apply it to test out the texture and longevity. It applied very well and didn’t feel cakey like a lot of cold sore meds do. It had a decent wear time before I felt like I would need to reapply.

    Easy & Effective

    This cream is a solid go-to for cold sores, especially if you catch them early. It helps speed up healing and makes things a little less painful. The pump dispenser is super convenient and way less messy than a tube. It goes on smoothly, absorbs fast, and doesn’t feel greasy. It won’t work miracles overnight, but it definitely helps! Great budget-friendly option.

    Excellent

    I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This product has the same active ingredient as the main name brand, and decreases healing time. It also provides some immediate relief. The price is much better than the name brand as well.
