ABSOLUTELY Criminal That These Are On Shelves
I cannot even believe that these are still sold in stores. It's on me for not reading the reviews before I purchased. I absolutely wish I had. These give a false positive result almost every time. I do not care the reason "oh its an evap line. oh its an indent line" it doesn't matter. These were what my tests looked like when my HCG was zero (I wish the camera picked it up better). After many losses, this was devastating. It could equally be devastating for someone NOT trying to concieve. Absolutely ridiculous. I WISH I could give zero stars. DARK Blue positive line - But no idea if I’m preg
⭐️ Yeah - I’ve now read all the reviews and DOUBTING my results. ⭐️ I was 4 days missed. But I’m always late. Don’t get your hopes up you know… It was cheap “so why not”… INSTANTLY dark blue positive. In shock I drive to CVS and get another. Instant dark positive. In slight denial I google the tests and see hundreds of false positive reviews. Now I have no freaking idea if I’m pregnant 😅 hours after excitedly googling everything to expect. Only comfort I have after scanning hundreds of reviews - only two mentioned bright blue false positives. Everyone else said faint or didn’t mention the depth of the line at all. I do suspect I am pregnant to be honest. If someone else hoping sees this review and gets a dark positive.. I think we may be pregnant. (Don’t be discouraged yet as 9/10 say faint positive-false negative..) but we may also not be 🤷🏻♀️ Once I test with First Response I’ll make a review update. P.S. DO NOT BUY!!
Do not buy if you want accurate results. After a traumatizing miscarriage and my husband and I trying again for a baby, we bought these to keep on hand during the 2 week wait. Tested at 13DPO and got faint positives on TWO TESTS. We were overjoyed. So I bought some first response tests to take the following day to monitor HCG to make sure levels were rising and we got a stark negative. Took another one of these tests and it was ANOTHER false positive. So heartbreaking when you’re trying and get such poor results and false hope. I know blue dye isn’t always the best, but you’d expect better from CVS. CVS needs to stop selling these and disappointing so many women yearning to be mothers.
