    Affordable and effective

I have hand eczema, and I immediately felt an improvement in the appearance of the eczema and relief with the itching after using this cream. I was able to use less steroid creams to treat the eczema. I usually have to skip buying eczema targeted hand creams, because they're too expensive and small for the price, but this is affordable in comparison to other creams, and is generous in size. Now I don't have to break the bank to find relief. Thank you for this option!

    Greasy but soothing

CVS Health Eczema Care Moisturizing Cream is a heavy lotion that is supposed to soothe and relieve dry, irritated, itchy skin due to eczema. It's a CVS brand version of a more expensive brand with a similar product name and ingredients. Both products contain colloidal oatmeal and Ceramide NP to calm, strengthen, and protect not only the skin, but the skin barrier. They even have almost the same exact ingredients in the same order, so why pay more than you have to? CVS has a store coupons/sales rewards program, so take advantage of those deals and save yourself some money. My husband gets very dry skin, which causes him to absentmindedly scratch his skin. He sometimes even bleeds from scratching he doesn't even know he's doing. While he did note that the Eczema Care Moisturizing Cream was kind of greasy- petrolatum is one of the top ingredients after all- I didn't notice him scratching for the rest of the night or next day after using this cream. While it is greasy, I am fine with putting it on before bed (under cotton gloves) to give it plenty of time to soak in and soften my skin. My hands usually crack and bleed during cold weather, but they're remarkably soft and smooth after using this cream for several days. Unfortunately it doesn't help with my cuticles, but very little does. The only issue I have with the tube is that the hole for dispensing the cream is very large. I often end up with more cream than I needed, which isn't a bonus given how greasy the formula is. But during the winter, at least there's an elbow or other dry body part that could use some excess moisture. You can also add a little of it to your regular lotion to pump up its moisturizing abilities and so you can have a little fragrance when you slather something on. I'd recommend Eczema Care Moisturizing Cream to anyone suffering from dry, rough, crocodile skin and/or dry, itchy skin. I would buy this again because of the immediate relief it gives and fair price per ounce, though it may last through a few seasons given how little of it I need every night. Thanks to Influenster and CVS Health for the opportunity to try this moisturizer during this cold, dry winter.

    Surprising relief for sensitive skin

I recently tried this cream that has a unique texture, resembling a combination of Vaseline and lotion. It feels very slippery, oily, and watery, which initially caught me off guard. However, I must say that this product actually works! Having extremely sensitive skin, I was skeptical about trying new creams. But I was pleasantly surprised by the results. Admittedly, the cream did cause a slight burning sensation upon application, but this is something to be expected when dealing with cracked skin caused by eczema. Unfortunately, it's an inevitable part of the healing process. Despite the initial discomfort, I noticed a significant improvement overnight. My scaly and dry skin became noticeably softer. The cream seemed to have provided the much-needed hydration and nourishment that my skin was craving. Overall, I am impressed with this cream's effectiveness in addressing my sensitive skin issues. While the texture may take some getting used to, the positive results make it worth the initial discomfort. If you're struggling with dry, sensitive skin, I would recommend giving this cream a try.

    It’s fine

It's a fine product. I packed it to share with my sister who has eczema (I just have extremely dry skin). We both have been using it and it's a fine product. It's a bit thinner than the name brand counterpart but it applies easily and is relatively non greasy.

    Very moisturizing

This cream is great! The formula isn't too thick. It's more of a water cream texture. It soaks into your skin immediately and doesn't leave a sticky afterfeel. I gave this to my husband because he struggles with eczema and he really likes it! He said it helps calm any itching and keeps the skin moisturized and less inflamed.

    Pretty good eczema cream

I've been bringing this cream to work and applying as needed. I like that it absorbed quickly into my hands. The only critique is that it is a thin consistency to call it a real cream. It does bring so relief to my eczema.

    Calming lotion

I found this cream to be very hydrating for my dry hands during this winter season. It was lightweight and I didn't feel greasy or sticky after using. I love the fact that it's made with oatmeal for a natural soothing relief. Overall its a good inexpensive lotion. I received the CVS Health Eczema Care moisturizing cream complimentary from influenster in exchange for my honest review.

Average lotion; not great for eczema

This product worked like any average body lotion on my dry skin. It would moisturize it, but leave an uncomfortable film and never fully soaked into the skin. Whenever I applied it to the places where I have eczema (my neck and ears), it irritated them more, making it itchy and red - it was not effective even after continued use.
