I ended up with plantar fasciitis pretty early in my 20s after playing beach volleyball. I remember having to get a giant boot that was hard on the bottom and being told I had to sleep in it. Anyone who has worn that I'm sure is aware you can hardly sleep at all in those. However this one has the stiff brace on the top rather than the bottom and your feet are strapped in my soft fabric with holes for breathability. My feet don't overheat in this unlike my holder brace and I even find it more comfortable to wear in the day. I still struggle to sleep with it but it is by far the most comfortable one I have used and doesn't cause me to wake me up in the middle of the night. The old larger brace often caused my feet to overheat, sweat, and was so large it would get tangled in the sheets. I did take off one star only because it doesn't provide as good of a stretch and that it can be difficult to initially put on and have your foot in the correct posture. In the instructions it says to strap your calf first but then I found I couldn't get it tight enough to have my toes in that 90° angle. Easy to use
The CVS Planter Fasciitis night support brace is easy to put on and is comfortable to wear. Very light weight. It didn’t bother me to wear it to sleep. I really don’t know if it helps with my planter fasciitis, but it hasn’t gotten any worse. This is a pretty good device. If you deal with planter fasciitis and have trouble sleeping. It does a great job supporting your lower leg and foot by keeping it stiff!
