I tried out these pads because lately I've been having metarsal pain in one foot. Putting them on is no problem, but keeping them in place is difficult even with socks on. Once worn in a shoe, it shifts so often it becomes uncomfortable and more painful. The toe loop also bulges in shoes and can cause some extra pressure on the toes. I think if the design was better these may work; the material is good and helped cushion some pain. It helped somewhat
It was hard to hold it in place when trying to pull on a sock. Sometimes it would bunch up. Don't bother
