Make sure you swallow the capsules with a full glass of water and take it as directed. Do not take these capsules longer than the 14-day total. Swallow the capsule entirely without crushing or chewing it. If your heartburn persists, talk to your doctor or other healthcare provider.

There are other things you can do to prevent or reduce the symptoms of heartburn. Raise your pillow or the head of your bead, and do not lie down directly after eating.
