    Not good

I've been cutting out all kinds of things from my diet trying to figure out why I'm having all these negative reactions. Luckily I'm not pregnant or I would be even more worried than I am right now. I am breastfeeding my son so I'm taking prenatals still recommended by my doctor. Today, I finally figured out it's these vitamins!!! My entire face, elbows and knees start burning up and turn bright red. My esophagus burns, my tongue tingles, I get a headache on the top left side of my head and my stomach feels like I'm going to throw up. What did you change in these??? These need to be taking off the shelf for analysis! We trust you with our babies, body and health. Im appalled at my reaction, I've never known of any allergies and I'm very healthy. I never feel bad, even during pregnancy. Someone please help. Aside, I have an open box and an unopened box of these that I want a full reimbursement.

    Changed

I have been taking this prenatal from January, as it appears another user has as well. Recently ordered some more in October, where the product had changed. Previously had 2 tablets; bigger was a multivitamin 2nd was a smaller capsule that was the DHA. Now, 2 tablets, but bigger is a capsule and smaller is choline. Finally opened and started taking this past week and within 30 min of taking product broke out entirely. Starting on my face spreading down neck and arms. RED, hot, burning and itchy, Upset, will have to find a new product and figure out what to do with barely used bottle and unopened package.

I've been using these prior to conceiving and during my pregnancy. They are great and my baby and I are both very healthy! If you are nauseous, as I was sick up until 16 weeks along, Do not take the Omega fatty acid pills until your nausea is gone. My OBGYN recommended this, she said it can actually make you more nauseous and wasn't needed until later on anyhow. I followed her suggestions and my nausea wasn't as bad, once I was over that, I started my omega fatty acid pills again and it didn't bother me at all.

Not a good pick if you're nauseous!

The last review for this product was published 3 years ago. Perhaps the formulation has changed (one reviewer describes the prenatal as having a "vanilla" flavor. I respectfully disagree.) but the prenatal tastes like I'm eating sweetened wax. Not lovely, but it wasn't a deal-killer until my nausea set in. This pill has triggered vomiting on multiple occasions immediately after taking it (on days I've already been nauseous), due to the incredibly unpleasant flavor. The DHA portion is fine (no flavor I can detect) and the pills don't upset my stomach upon digestion, the taste is just too much for my nauseated pregnant self to handle. Which is a bummer - these aren't cheap and it's hard to find a prenatal that is as complete. I'd recommend the regular CVS prenatal (doesn't have the same flavor) and a separate DHA.
