These tablets worked perfectly for my recent bout of congestion from a lingering cold. I normally use the name brand of guaifenesin, but was pleased to find that these tablets worked just as well, if not better. They are actually a bit smaller and easier to swallow than what I’m used to, and the packaging keeps the individual tablets fresh. It works!
This works just as well as name brand guaifenisen medications. Helps with even severe cough and mucous congestion. The packaging is average standard packaging. I always try to get name brand but find myself going for generic when on a budget. Very effective medication especially during flu season. Be ready to stave off pneumonia!
When you have a cold that starts going into your chest, it is best to begin taking this type of medicine to prevent winding up with pneumonia or bronchitis. We always turn to a Guaifenesin product immediately when we start getting chest congestion. And this CVS brand is just as reliable as the name brand one, but for less money. I also like to stack CVS coupons that are available and purchase this ahead of time, so I always have some on hand. Just as good as name brand
These are just as good as name brand for a fraction of the cost. They’re effective at breaking up the mucus and drainage when sick and it’s nice that they’re extended release so that the medicine stays working longer.
