The pads measure 2 in. x 2 in. CVS Health Sterile Antibacterial Gauze Pads contain several layers of soft, absorbent material that can help prevent infections. CVS Health Sterile Antibacterial Gauze Pads help by pulling excessive fluids and drainage away from the wound site. CVS Health Sterile Antibacterial Gauze Pads are specifically designed to kill bacteria within the pad like Staph and MRSA. The barrier the pads form may also help by reducing the risk of infection. This product contains PHMB 0.2% and the gauze pads are made with a rayon-polyester blend. CVS Health Sterile Antibacterial Gauze Pads are sterile until each individual package has been damaged in some way or opened prior to use. To use, carefully clean the wound site with a gauze pad using water and mild soap. Dry the area gently by patting it with a clean paper or cloth towel. Do not rub the area when drying as this can cause further damage to the injury to occur. Discard the pad that was used to clean the area and apply a new CVS Health Sterile Antibacterial Gauze Pad to the site.
