The patches are very cooling and feel nice on the skin. They're not sticky, so it's easy to remove them without irritation. Must have on hand
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. These CVS health sterile hydrogel burn pads are great! They are great to have on hand when you burn yourself cooking an need a quick fix. They instantly cool and make the burning feel better while also protecting and covering the burn. I used these after a minor burn, and they worked great. The cooling relief was almost instant, and the pad didn't stick to my skin, which made it way easier to change. My burn healed faster than expected, and I felt way more comfortable throughout. Confusing and messy
The instructions say to remove the white backing and apply to the burn with the dotted side facing away from the skin. But the white paper was covering the dotted side. The opposite side had clear plastic covering on it and when that was removed, both sides were identical. It is transparent. We studied this patch under lamps, with our phone flashlight and with sunlight and no one could figure out which side was the dotted side. The thing is clear, you can see the dots on both sides, we had no idea which side was supposed to touch the skin. They both seemed the same anyway so we picked a side and covered it with gauze. It constantly came unstuck under the gauze and fell apart into tiny sticky clumps. Instant relief
I accidentally burned my pinky on a kettle the other day but thank god I remembered we got these burn pads. Good burn pad!
The CVS sterile hydrogel burn pads are great for soothing minor burns. It is very easy to apply! It lasts for awhile, however there was an issue with it not staying on unless the gauze is tight to hold it on the area. Other than that, it is great! They do offer adhesive burn pads that I will try out too! The package come with 4 1.96"x 2.95" bandages and shows a price of $10.49. I think that's a good deal for what you're getting. There is no fragrance and it really did give cooling relief! Since I had a smaller burn, I cut the pad in half and put the other half in the fridge to apply when it needs to be changed. Important for your 1st Aid Kit!!
I burned my hand cooking and used one of these Hydrogel Burn Pads. It felt super cool right away and stopped the sting. It stayed on without peeling off and didn't feel gross.
