it works ok but is slow to kick in

I choose timed release or extended release option melatonin specifically because I find that regular melatonin wears off and causes me to wake up repeatedly at night. This was my first time using a CVS brand melatonin. I appreciate that CVS offers a time release option. This particular pill I found mixed results at getting quick and prolonged sleep. It only seems to work for me if I take the pill about an hour or a bit more before bedtime. I also found it interesting that this is a very chalky white pill and does not appear to be any special type of pill material. It does seem to be slow acting, but the white powder seems pretty typical if you look at the pill visually. The main reason I would promote this from a three star product to a four star product is that it is a very good price compared to time released name brand competing products.
