Amazing multipurpose kitchen cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn Powerwash Free and Clear is a great dish washing detergent. It is a clear liquid but comes out as a foam as it is dispensed. It does a great job cleaning dishes without creating unnecessary bubbles. In my opinion though, this is even better as a stainless steel stove cleaner. I cleaned my stove after the dishes and just grabbed this bottle. I was extremely surprised when this cleaned my messy stove with ease including grease and caked on food and left no streaks. My only negative is that the pump dispenser is really stiff and actually ripped my nail off. I wish I had seen the below review, which is 100% correct. Selling a scented product as "Free and Clear" is false advertising, plain and simple!! If they can't sell unscented I want my money back!!! AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "It's very misleading to brand this product "Free and Clear", and to list that as an option under the Scent options, and then have fragrance in the product. I bought the "Free and Clear" version online and so I didn't see the tiny print under it that says *of dyes, has a light pear scent. "Free and Clear" is being used pretty universally to indicate that no scents/ fragrances/ perfumes are added, so I am confused about why Dawn would use this term for a perfumed product. Why can't this version be made without fragrance in it so that people with fragrance sensivities/ intolerances have an option they can actually buy and use comfortably?"Reply from dawn-dish.com1 week agoWere very sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Absolutely Amazing Results
This product is AWESOME!! I suffered an injury resulting in a compound fracture of my ankle. I was wearing white shorts when this occurred and with the amount of blood loss my shorts were covered in blood. My finance wanted to through them away, but I love those shorts so I told him to saturate them with Dawn Powerwash spray and wash them in cold water. I was completely AMAZED at the results. There was no trace whatsoever of any blood stains. Awful Changes
You've changed the formula and scent!!! I have been a HUGE fan of this product. Literally used it on everything from the kitchen (loved how easily it cleaned the stainless steel refrigerator and sink!,) to laundry, and removing stains on rugs, furniture, shoes, and clothing. It was a product I recommended to family and friends..until you made these changes. This "updated" product does not do a good job, even with several applications, and the scent is overwhelmingly awful! The scent is literally an assault on my nose! Putrid New Smell
I am in my 40s and have used Dawn my entire life. New scent "fresh" is awful. It smells like rotting onions and I feel like it stinks to my dishes. Returning my purchase and I guess I will find a new dish soap. Take a cue from the makers of Smart Balance who tried to change their formula too. They ended up changing right back after a few months.
