I would never recommend this product, doesn't hold the cap on at all. Maybe the stock was old?

It works well
I have used this a couple times. Works better for re-cementing temporary crowns then it for filling in RC openings. It lasted a few days, so definitely worth using.

Temporary Filling
My temporary filling came out on a root canal/crowned tooth. Bought this until I'm able to get into dentist as it's the weekend. It put it in over 24 hours ago and is still there! Not sure how long it'll last but I don't mind doing it again if it comes out. Took a bit of time to get it right as I used too much the first time and it wouldn't stick. Just kept decreasing the amount until it stayed, didn't eat or drink for 2 hours like the directions state and viola!

Had a temporary cap fall out and was skeptical. It held for 4 days. Worked like a charm!

"Temporarily repair loose caps and crowns" the ad says. No kidding. Try "repairs that last about 20 minutes." And, when the cap comes loose again it's filled with the dried adhesive which is nearly impossible to remove, so a second "fix" is even less stable. I can't recommend this. I do recommend that you try something else.
