I used to suffer from hormonal acne that covered my chin but once I started using Differin everyday for a few months, my acne has completely gone away. I've been able to scale back on how often I use this product since it seems to have cured my acne so when I'll get the occasional period pimple now, I'll apply it on the pimple. I like the smoothness of the gel and a little goes a long way so the tube lasts for a long time. It has a nice cooling sensation when I apply it, which is nice. I'll definitely be keeping in my skincare drawer.

I use these two products every day - the face gel and the body wash. I love them! I go to a dermatologist and have prescription strength face cream and actually prefer these instead. They work for my cystic acne and also my smaller pimples. It is the only cream I have tried that has worked quickly and effectively!

Too early
The price was good, but it is too early for me to rate the product. The directions say to not expect anything to change in first 3 months.

I read reviews and thought I'd give it a shot. I have hormonal acne around my chin area around my menstrual cycle. I began getting cystic acne in places I never had before. Everyday I'd wake up with new acne all over my face. Some have left me scarring that I now have to deal with. I went into this knowing that there would be a purge period. But for me, the purge period never ended and mt skin looked worse and worse by the day. I'm done with differin gel as of tonight.

It works
So at 62 I started having a few breakouts and a few blackheads on the side of my face. My dermatologist said I could get a prescription for several dollars or try Diffren. I chose Diffren obviously. It did take a few months but most of the blackheads are gone and no more breakouts. Surprised to see my big pores on my nose look better and some diminishing lines around my mouth. I had no issues with stinging. A small tube lasts me about a month using small amounts of product twice a day.
