Been using Dove deodorant since the product was created Loved that the Original Scent matched the soap, which I’ve been using since I was a baby. I’ve been using this formula for years because it goes on smooth and works well. Used the “72hr” formula for the first time and immediately noticed the difference in smell - it’s not the original clean even though it says it is. It smells floral. That alone makes me not want to use it again, but I definitely won’t use it again because it gave me a rash. My skin is not sensitive and the itchiness was so bad, I had to shower to scrub the product off. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!!
For two decades, this was my go-to. The clean scent wasn't overpowering and the product was long-lasting. This last batch I bought, which I'm now learning isn't just a "batch" - rather a changed product, stinks like the chemicals are trying too hard to smell like the original and just comes off as awful. It says "48 hour" protection, but in reality I'm lucky if it lasts 8. I could see maybe 24 hours with the old product, but this is just laughable in terms of lasting power. The packaging says one thing, but the product doesn't live up to it; it is definitely not an improvement. Rash from new formulation
I've been using this Deodorant for years, I started using it when Sure changed their ingredients & it bought me out in a rash. Changed!!! Now stinks
What did you do to such a good deodorant you change the active ingredient and it doesn’t work as well and it stinks to high heaven. Terrible New Smell
I am a long term Dove deodorant user of the original clean scent. I used the regular base formula for years until Dove changed the formula in 2023. Then I switched to advanced care because the base formula no longer worked as an antiperspirant. I've been using the advanced care product since then. I noticed in the last several purchases that the scent has been changed. There is no notification on the packaging of a formula change either. Initially, I thought I just got a bad batch, but the change has persisted. The new scent is so strong that I had to wash my armpits and could still smell it all day. Yuck. I now have to look for a new deodorant which is so disappointing as I loved the previous scent. If you go back to the old scent, I hope you will advertise it because I will switch back, but I cannot tolerate the new scent. allergic reaction to the new formula
I've used Dove Original Clean for many years. When I opened my latest purchase I immediately noticed the fragrance was different and the color was different. After using it, I had an allergic reaction. I looked at the label and saw that the formula had changed. It now contains Limonene, a citrus derivative. I am allergic to citrus. There was no indication on the package that the formula had been changed. I'm forced to say goodbye to Dove because it appears that now ALL your deodorant products contain Limonene.
