I’m pleasantly surprised!
I was very pleasantly by this mascara! While it does smudge a little bit despite being waterproof, it makes my lashes so long and thick that I do not even need eyeliner. I apply one coat and then touch up the individual lashes missed with the tip of the wand to avoid clumping. I have never received compliments on my lashes but I do when I wear this. Looks great right away…
My lashes look exceptional when I first do my lashes with this mascara. But I work a 6hr day and by the time I get home I have panda eyes and little flakes. Definitely worth the buy
I keep on going back to the same mascara over and over again. Every time I try a new one from a different brand I instantly regret it. I usually curl my eyelashes and apply the mascara and honestly that’s all I need to do, it keeps the curl in place even after applying the mascara and if I really want to kick it up a notch I’ll add another layer and I’ll be more of like a doll eye look. I bought this mascara at least 7 times and I love it! Another Essence Winner
I’m sold on Essence eye makeup products (most of them) & recently picked up 3 different waterproof mascaras to try (the store was out of my “usual” choice). This one is a winner: long lasting, no flaking, no smudging, easy to remove, makes my skimpy lashes look amazing AND costs less than $5! ( I HAVE found that the non waterproof versions tend to flake and that’s a problem, especially with contact lenses. The waterproof formulas do NOT flake BUT remove easily with a gentle cleanser). I use high-end cosmetics as well and these outperform Nudestix, NARS, ILIA, Benefit (which are the ones I’ve used most recently).3 users found this review helpful.
