Essie Nail Polish is a very good quality and long lasting Nail Polish. This shade is a great natural light color. I always take my own polish to the Salon when I get a manicure and pedicure so that I can later touch up any chip. Better than expected!
This was my first time trying out Essie's Gel Couture nail polish collection and I am very happy with this discovery! In terms of the color, I spent a long time debating between different Essie pink shades, as they have many available options. I was looking for a classy pink that was clearly pink but still somewhat discreet, as the other pink shades seemed too neutral, too white, or too sheer. After reading other people's comments about this specific color's sheerness, I worried it would take way too many layers of polish to get my desired result. Do not worry!!! The 1st layer was indeed very sheer, but after the 2nd layer, the pink color was already more visible, and I ended up doing 3 layers to get the results I had envisioned - a true soft pink (though it leans more towards a warm tone). I am new to doing my own nails at home and I though it was very smooth and easy to apply on the nail. It has a beautiful shiny finish that looks and feels like gel, but keep in mind that I also used a base coat, the Essie Gel Couture top coat, and allowed the nail polish to dry in between applying layers! Considering that I do cleaning and wash the dishes around the house, these have lasted me a surprisingly longer time, whereas regular nail polish only lasts me about 3-4 days. This picture is 1 week into having painted my nails, and while I did notice some shrinkage around the nail, the polish remains intact with minimal to no chipping. Beautiful teal!
I've bought 2 bottles of this color over the past couple years, and let me tell you, it's my favorite color! Not only does it have long lasting stay and longevity, but I get more compliments on this color than anything I've ever worn. The color is gorgeous, and edgy without it being black. I have used so many Essie gel colors, but this one is awful. The formula is horrid. What happened??? I’ve never done such a bad manicure! I do my nails religiously and I’ve never had such blotchy, bubbly nails. cool toned nude - with sparkles
If you're looking for a cool toned, non-sheer neutral, you found it!.Last Nightie is the closest thing I've found to my natural skin color, which is great for me. The only downside is a personal quirk - I don't like the shimmer aspect. My brain tells me that it should be all-or-nothing. If I wanted sparkles, I'll go for a dense glitter or a linear holographic. Last Nightie has just enough shimmer to catch the light, but not like a traditional shimmer, pearl, or even a glitter... it's just not enough. Eventually, I found a loophole. If I add a matte top coat, it eliminates the shimmer aspect and makes it look like a creme polish. Elegant

I did have to apply 2-3 layers for it to pop the way that I wanted it to, but once applied the polish is very durable.
