Hi there Omgitsaclaire, we can see this is not the kind of result any of us want to see when removing nail enamel. Some people are more likely to experience staining from intensely pigmented polish shades. Those with dry nails are especially at risk. You are definitely doing the right thing by using a base coat. You may need to give the base coat a few more minutes to set so it doesn’t absorb any of the pigment. If you see staining during polish removal, lightly buff the nail to remove polish residue from the surface of the nail plate.
