They Turned Blue?
I bought this color to be an off-white shade and when I used it on my nails for the first time I quickly realized it was the sheerest shade I'd ever used and so I had to layer it under another white polish I had to get the coverage I was looking for. I used the Essie gel hi-shine top coat to finish the nail look and I was happy with the outcome. Then I wore a blue dress and they started looking ombré, which I can only assume was from the color transferring?Reply from EssieHace 8 mesesHello elizzyv44! BEST milky, creamy white color I've ever used
This is hands down my favorite nail polish color of all time! It's a perfect creamy color and love that it is a little sheer but layers well and is less sheer as you layer, with still a little of the natural nail peeking through. Essie Tuck it in My Tux
The color is beautiful, but the formula of this polish is so thin it took 4 coats to get good coverage. After 3 coats, I could still see streaks.Hace 2 añosHi there Judi! We want to understand what happened just as much as you do. This sheer silken ivory, like all essie nail colors, should look perfect by the second coat. While the color 'tuck it in my tux' has a sheer finish, it should not look streaked.
