This is the best and most affordable sunscreen product I’ve tried that is formulated under the existing US spf filters. It reminds me a lot of another brand’s European formula, with its smooth texture, very light scent, and transparent finish. My face is very prone to allergic reactions, especially after shaving, and this sunscreen has applied super well without side effects. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. This sunscreen is milky, lightweight, and absorbs fairly quickly. There is a faint scent of sunscreen, but it is not very noticeable. Formula is pretty hydrating and leaves a slight sheen - I'm not very dark, but I'm also not fair and I did not notice any white cast. It does seem to leave my skin slightly oily, even after drying down, but did not feel unpleasant and didn't seem to affect my makeup. 30 mins in the sun = so much sunburn
i don’t know what happened with this formula but i was outside for maybe 30 minutes and my face got so so so sunburnt. i’m so disappointed. i also have sensitive / reactive / rosacea prone skin, so this could have also just massively irritated it. either way, my face is red and hot and i am so upset. i used the age defense spf 50, love it, no sunburn. i was hoping for something less shiny, but after how my face looks and feels right now, i should have just stuck with the shininess of the age defense.Reply from Sam7 months agoHi Sam, We are sorry for your experience with the Eucerin Advanced Hydration Face SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion. Terrible Allergic Reaction
Tried this sunscreen and had terrible skin reaction to my face. Woke up at 2am with a terrible itchy stinging sensation on my lower cheeks. My cheeks, nose, chin, and neck below chin super red and peeling skin. I put small amount of hydrocortisone as directed by dermatologist. I DO NOT RECOMMEND if you have sensitive skin. Eucerin Sun Advanced Hydration Face SPF 50
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this sunscreen because of the brand and quality. It does irritate the eyes if accidentally touched. I use it under makeup but wait for it to dry before moving onto the next skincare step so it won't get into my eyes. I use it for my workouts in the morning and my skin is still able to breathe comfortably.
